The 3-Step System to Getting Big Results on REPEAT

I was about six months in with my business, nearly five figures in debt from investing in coaches and courses, and had made exactly zero dollars.

I remember the pang of shame and anxiety I would feel every time someone in my family would ask, “So how’s business?” or “Are you making money yet?”

Oh, you know, I haven’t slept through the night in months, I feel sick every time I eat something because I’m on the verge of panic, I have no idea how the bills are going to be paid next month, it's going great.

Not exactly a kickass mindset.

But here’s the thing that frustrated me most: I was DOING. THE. WORK. I was spending more time behind my laptop than I ever had in my 9-to-5 job. I was doing ALL the things I thought I was supposed to be doing to get results, but the results weren’t there.

I was completely overwhelmed and exhausted. I had left my career and started this business so I could have more freedom, so how on EARTH was I feeling more chained to my desk than ever?

Then I thought, “If I’m working this hard and still not getting results, then I might as well go back to my job.”


Thank God my stubbornness finally decided to kick into gear. Hitting that bottom gave me the bounce I needed to put on my big girl pants and turn this bad boy around.

This was going to work. And it was going to work MY way. I was done trying to fit myself into a box and looking for answers in someone else’s modules. I went back to basics, I MASSIVELY simplified my strategy, and instead of wearing myself out trying to do everything, I focused solely on doing a few of the right things, and doing them like my life depended on it (I mean, it kind of did). And that’s when everything changed.

The big ‘AHA’ moment: Despite what we’ve all been conditioned to believe, effort in does not equal money out. You do not have to struggle. You do not have to have it perfect before you’re worthy of charging a high-ticket price for your service. The key to success as an online business owner is actually pretty simple - you really only need to focus on three things to get the big results you want, consistently.

1. Creating Relationships - AKA, attracting new people into your business. Sustainable businesses always have been, and always will be about relationships. THAT is how you turn followers into buyers. THAT is how you create communities of raving fans who buy whatever you have to sell. And it all starts with getting yourself VISIBLE and creating those new relationships on a daily basis. Whether it’s adding new followers on Instagram, people opting into your list or joining your group, you need to make sure you are getting out into the world and bringing new people in every. single. day.

2. Nurturing Relationships - AKA, going from cold leads to warm leads. What are you doing with those new connections once they’re following you/opted in/joined the group/etc.? THIS is where that consistency is so, so key. The ONLY way for this process to work is if you are consistently sharing valuable content with your people and building your know, like and trust factor. If you want consistent results, YOU have to show up consistently to get them. Some people will buy right away, some people will follow you for weeks or months before buying from you, but the only way to make sure that they do, in fact, buy from you is by staying top of mind and nurturing that relationship.

3. Selling - AKA, letting them know how to work with you. I know this seems like a no-brainer, but I can’t tell you how many times I talk to people who are frustrated with their lack of results, then when we start looking at their content strategy, they are BARELY promoting their offers. You guys, YOU HAVE TO SELL TO MAKE SALES. Think of it this way: You’ve spent all this time creating a valuable post, and it REALLY resonates with someone. The content is great - it drew them in, it made them feel a connection with you, it showed them that you can solve their problem, then at the end it just...ends. Like, “Hi I know exactly what your problem is and how to solve it, and I’m probably the perfect coach for you, isn’t that great, okay cool, have a good day.” WHAT?! Stop the madness. Give them a call-to-action. Remember that selling is serving, and if you don’t let people know how you can solve their problem, they will find someone else who will.

Speaking from experience, if you focus on NOTHING else except these three things, you will have a rinse-and-repeat process for NEVER stressing about where your next client is coming from again, AND freeing up a TON of your time.
